Newport SKC -Senior Instructors And Supporting Team

Sensei Tony has been training since xxxx and has over 40 years experience. 

Using all his knowledge he has led our club and members, to countless successes (including his own daughters Lauren and Kelly). 

Not only through training and guiding many members through to achieving their black belts but also coaching many club Karteka to be able to compete at the national and European Level.

Sensei Tony  his passion for Karate and teaching club members using his vast experience and his warm ups are legendary! 

Sensei Lauren is a very expereinced Karateka and has had an illustrious Karate career. 

She been training since 5 years old and by the time she was 11 she was competing before proudly representing the Welsh National Team from 16!

Lauren has enjoyed tremendous success and taken home numerous medals and trophies. This includes securing Bronze at the European Championships competing at the highest possible level! 

Lauren loves passing this knowledge on to the next generation and is helping our members be successful!

Dan is a long time Newport resident and been training for a number of years, most recently joining Newport SKC in 2022 with his son Noah.

Dan has competed at the Welsh Regionals over the past few years, including some success in Kumite.

Dan also recenly certified as a KUGB assistant Instrucutor. He enjoys learning from Sensei Tony and Lauren Raggett and supporting them and the club wherever possible.
